Cooper Music student since 2002

The Cooper Music and Wellness program has been a part of my life since 2002. My cancer is
in remission because when I play, I don't have time to think or feel sorry for myself.
My friends at Cooper Music are very caring and loving people. Laura and Kyle make learning fun.
I can hardly wait each week for class. My husband of 53 years, Ben, has also started to learn
to play and he loves it. I almost have to "sign up" to have practice time at home!
I try to get others to just enjoy playing for themselves. It makes life better!

I was very young when I started taking music (piano) and I had no interest really.
So my mom said if you don't practice, I'm not going to pay for lessons. So you guessed it,
I didn't practice, and that was the end of that.
Maybe this is what I wanted all along.
I started with Cooper Music in 2004 and I just love it! I just can't keep my hands off my
organ. Really!
I just wish every one could have an organ, and be like me, the happiest person in the world!

Tom & Eleanor Pemberton
Cooper Music students since 2001

Five years ago, Eleanor and I heard Cooper Music entertain a group of us
"Senior Citizens" with an hour-long musical presentation on a Lowrey organ! It was a marvelous
performance, filled with such a variety of music, from "oldies but goodies", to rhythm-and-blues,
to popular, to classical, with all those different combos and orchestras, all coming from that
one organ!
We were impressed! We were offered ten weeks of free music lessons on a Lowrey organ. We enjoyed
playing the organ so much that, in mid-2001, we became owners of our first Lowrey organ.
